The event began with a report from the head of the event's organizing committee, the Director of Inspection of Nuclear Installations and Materials (DIIBN), Lukman Hakim. In his report, he addressed several issues, including the follow-up to last year's inspector meeting, the background to the theme, and the agenda for this year's meeting.

"This annual meeting is expected to be the first step in implementing effective and efficient inspections in the oversight of nuclear energy utilization, which consists of the planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling stages of the inspection cycle," he said.

In his opening remarks, Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Sugeng Sumbarjo outlined several achievements this year, including the Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI) score, which shows BAPETEN as one of the cleanest institutions free from corruption, with a score of 84.50. "Besides these achievements, we face three main challenges: nuclear power plant construction, the Ionizing Radiation Source (SRP) census, and radioactive waste management," he added.

He added that it is crucial to follow up on audit results from the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK), the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), and the Ministry of Finance, which indicated the need for an SRP census. He also praised the squad teamwork system currently implemented at BAPETEN. "I think the squad team system is positive. Considering the inspectors' work methods, this is an example of an ideal squad team, as it involves multiple work units," he concluded.

The event continued with a presentation on the 2025 Inspection Policy by Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection, Zainal Arifin. He explained several BAPETEN inspection policies, including inspection priorities, inspector competency development, and the SIAP (Synergy, Infrastructure, Action, Development) concept for conducting inspections.

The meeting then continued with a presentation of the 2024 Inspector Assessment Results and the Inspector Code of Ethics by Senior Radiation Supervisor (Pengawas Radiasi Madya) Rizal Palapa and Junior Radiation Supervisor (Pengawas Radiasi Muda) Ilham Hidayat, moderated by the Director of DIIBN, Lukman Hakim.

Furthermore, there was a presentation on the 2024 Inspection Implementation Evaluation Survey Results by Senior Radiation Supervisor Kusbandono and the results of the 2024 BAPETEN Inspector medical check-ups by Kristin Tjandra from Prodia Children's Health Centre (PCHC), moderated by the Director of Inspection of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DIFRZR), Zulkarnain.

At the end of the event, a presentation was given on BAPETEN Regulation No. 4 of 2024 on Work Permits for Radiation Facilities and/or Activities Utilizing Ionizing Radiation Sources by Senior Radiation Supervisor Aris Sanyoto. A presentation was made on BAPETEN Regulation No. 5 of 2024 on Radioactive Material Safety, including New Provisions, Implications, Issues, and Operational Implementation by Senior Radiation Supervisor Nanang Triagung Edi Hermawan, moderated by the Director of DIFRZR Zulkarnain.
