Haendra Subekti, BAPETEN’s Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment, attended the event in person to accept the award. He emphasized that records management is crucial for state institutions, particularly in supporting development and the formulation of sustainable policies.

The event was opened by the Head of ANRI, Mego Pinandito, who highlighted the importance of the initiative in motivating institutions to advance their future records management practices. "We conducted the assessment based on various indicators, and we hope the results will encourage the development of electronic-based records management," he stated.

In his remarks, the Minister of National Development Planning (PPN)/Head of Bappenas, Rachmat Pambudy, noted that archives can serve as an instrument for national development. He therefore urged us to view archiving not merely as a document management activity but also as a means of preserving the nation's collective memory.

This achievement is expected to improve BAPETEN’s records management performance by aligning with archival principles, rules, and standards, as well as the demands of information and communication technology-driven advancements in governance.
