The audience was received by Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Zainal Arifin, Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment, Haendra Subekti, and Director of Licensing of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials, Asep Saefulloh Hermawan, along with their respective staff.

On this occasion, Zainal emphasized that any plan to produce equipment utilizing ionizing radiation must comply with all radiation safety requirements and applicable nuclear regulatory provisions. Fulfillment of safety aspects remains the primary principle in every licensing process carried out by BAPETEN as the regulatory authority.

Meanwhile, Haendra highlighted the importance of meeting applicable technical standards and certification requirements, both nationally and internationally, to ensure safety, security, and product quality prior to obtaining distribution or operational licenses in accordance with relevant authorities.

Through this meeting, BAPETEN provided an overview of the licensing mechanisms, stages, and requirements that must be fulfilled by applicants.
