The BAPETEN verification team was led by Iin Indartati, Lead of the Health Facility Inspection Function Group, and accompanied by BAPETEN Radiation Supervisors Made Pramayuni and Dwi Angestiningsih. The verification was conducted on facilities using a Siemens Biograph Vision Quadra PET/CT machine with an F-18 Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) radiopharmaceutical source.

The scope of the inspection included:

• Document inspection and building design compliance with radiation protection requirements,
• Evaluation of the adequacy of radiation barrier walls in critical rooms such as radiopharmaceutical preparation, enumeration, radiopharmaceutical administration, imaging, and decontamination,
• Verification of the performance of primary and supporting equipment,
• Measurement of radiation exposure,
• Inspection of patient flow, radioactive waste management systems, patient-specific restrooms, and source protection and safety equipment.
• The team also ensured that the personnel operating the facility were competent and met applicable standards.

EMC Grha Kedoya Hospital welcomed the verification and expressed its commitment to immediately follow up on all technical notes provided by the BAPETEN team within the specified timeframe. The entire verification process proceeded smoothly.
