In the implementation of the audit, the lead auditor was Vinka Cantikara, and the auditee was Mukhlisin, Director of DP2FRZR, along with all DP2FRZR personnel.

Since January 29, 2018, DP2FRZR has obtained an ISO 9001:2015 certificate and has been recertified twice, the last of which was on December 6, 2023, with Certificate No.: QMS42967. The implementation of surveillance audits is carried out for the scope of the formation and dissemination of laws and regulations in the field of radiation facilities and radioactive materials.

During the opening meeting, Mukhlisin stated that the implementation of surveillance audits aims to verify the conformity of the management system and its procedures in relation to the ISO 9001:2015 certification. By carrying out the audit, it is expected that there will be things that can improve the implementation of the management system in DP2FRZR. However, with the audit, if there are things that have not been implemented or need improvement from ISO 9001:2015, it can be informed so that we can make improvements to the quality of DP2FRZR.

Furthermore, Vinka said that in 2021, a high-level conference was held regarding climate change. This issue is one of the developments of ISO 9001:2015. With this, all organizations that are certified with ISO 9001:2015 can implement it. Sounding the issue of climate change began in 2024, and a review of the issue will be conducted in 2025. In addition, Vinka also explained that an audit was conducted on the management system, documentation system, monitoring measurement, analysis and evaluation, draft establishment of regulation, including draft review and verification, dissemination of regulations, and maintenance of infrastructure.

In the closing meeting, Vinka stated that overall, the implementation of the DP2FRZR management system had been carried out well, and supervision had been carried out through management reviews and internal audits. There were no major findings in the implementation of this audit, but there was only one minor finding related to the implementation of the SWOT analysis, namely the determination of the time or frequency of the review. In addition, Vinka also provided suggestions for improving the quality of the management system, namely an evaluation of understanding after the implementation of the guidance of laws and regulations, the use of social media channels for the socialization of regulatory products, and requesting an estimate for the completion of repairs to damaged work equipment by the relevant work unit. The results of the surveillance audit are in the form of a certificate recommendation that can still be extended until the next surveillance, concluded Vinka.

The activity was closed by Mukhlisin, who expressed his gratitude to Intertek SAI Global for the implementation of the surveillance audit and also conveyed that the results of the ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit were input for DP2FRZR.
