This Public Consultation was held in a hybrid manner with 40 offline participants and 60 online participants. Participants consisted of several Professional Association institutions, including the Indonesian Association of Nuclear Medicine-Molecular Theranostics (PKNI-TMI), the Alliance of Indonesian Medical Physicists (AFISMI), the Indonesian Radiographers Association (PARI), and Hospital Officers (Medical Physicists, Radiographers, and Radiation Protection Officers).

DP2FRZR Director Mukhlisin, during his opening remarks, said the extensive use of nuclear medicine in health facilities requires strict supervision to ensure that this technology provides optimal benefits to patients while minimizing the risk of radiation exposure.

The event continued with a presentation from the Chairman of the Indonesian Association of Nuclear Medicine-Molecular Theranostics, Eko Purnomo, on the Development of Technology and Principles of Radiation Safety Protection in Nuclear Medicine Facilities. Then, followed by a presentation by Medical Physicist of Dharmais Cancer Hospital, M. Roslana Gani, on the Implementation of Nuclear Medicine Facilities at Dharmais Cancer Hospital related to BAPETEN Chairman's Regulation No. 17/2012.

After the material presentation session, a discussion session was held between the speakers and the participants, and the handover of plaques to the speakers. The discussion this time included technical details in the implementation of this Draft Regulation, which will be legalized later. It is expected that suggestions and views from stakeholders will be considered so that this draft regulation supports the improvement of the quality of nuclear medicine services in Indonesia.[BHKK/CD/Translator/Da]
