The event began with a report from the Chairman of the Committee Umul Khoir who conveyed the objectives of PKSR training, providing an understanding of the security elements of radioactive sources and the ability to compile radioactive source security documents as a procedure for securing radioactive sources at the workplaces of the permit holders.

The event was continued with opening by the Director of Licensing for Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Sources Ishak. In his remarks, He said that the PKSR candidate training was one of the mandatory activities as regulated in laws and regulations, especially the Chairman of BAPETEN Regulation No. 6/2015, concerning the Safety of Radioactive Sources.

This training that was attended by 11 participants from medical, gauging and industrial radiographs, followed with presentation about the Urgency of PKSR in the Use of Radioactive Sources by Ishak and continued by Anet Hayani, ST., MT. [BHKK/IS]
