The first day was attended by Deputy for Nuclear Safety Assessment Haendra Subekti, Deputy for Licensing and Inspection Zainal Arifin, Head of P2STPFRZR Taruniyati Handayani, Head of Inspectorate Hery Budi Santoso, Director of Inspection of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Substances (DIFRZR) Asep Saefulloh Hermawan and other interested BAPETEN staff.

The event was filled with presentations about the KFPK-P2STPFRZR work plan in 2025 by each chairman of the Working Group (Pokja). After the presentation was completed, it was responded to by interested officials.

This year, there are several KFPK-P2STPFRZR work plans presented including Technical Guidelines for Reporting and Learning from Radiation Errors or Incidents to Improve Patient Safety in Health Facilities, Policy Recommendations for Preparing Infrastructure for Safety Culture Assessment in Health Facilities, Review of Infrastructure Preparation and Radiotherapy Dosimetry Audit Program Scheme, Seminar on Radiation Safety in Medical Exposure (Sekarpadi), Evaluation and Review of Utilization Justification, Ionizing Radiation Sources, Review of Radiation Protection Officers (PPR), Journal of Nuclear Power Supervision (Jupeten) 2025, and Strengthening the Effectiveness of Indonesian TPD Implementation.

Deputy for Licensing and Inspection Zainal Arifin appreciated the work plan that KFPK-P2STPFRZR will carry out in 2025. He noted the need to differentiate between internal and external studies. According to him, if the study is internal, it does not need to be published to the public.

Then Deputy for Nuclear Safety Assessment Haendra Subekti added the importance of disseminating the results of the study to the public. According to him, this is to show accountability to the public for the work carried out by BAPETEN.

On the second day of the meeting, the Socialization and Consultation of the 2025 Work Plan Update with stakeholders and related agencies consisting of the Ministry of Health, Professional Associations, Applicants for Justification of Utilization of Ionizing Radiation Sources, and representatives of Hospitals with Radiotherapy facilities.

The activity was opened by the Head of P2STPFRZR BAPETEN Taruniyati Handayani who delivered remarks as well as opening the event by saying “The study we conducted is a policy recommendation for the issuance of regulations, the licensing implementation process and for the implementation of safety and security inspections of radioactive substances, for that input and direction in this socialization and consultation event will be highly expected for recommendations in making regulations”.

Then the event continued with presentations delivered by each working group leader in P2STPFRZR which had been prepared on the first day of the meeting. After the presentation of the material, it was continued with a discussion with all participants regarding the 2025 Health Assessment work plan.
