The event began with a presentation by Deputy Chairman of Licensing and Inspection of BAPETEN Khoirul Huda on Utilization of Nuclear Technology in Health. This was welcomed by the General Secretary of the Ministry of Health who conveyed "because there was a sudden rush that forced the meeting to be represented, Mr. Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto concentrated on the services of nuclear doctors, radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals that developed rapidly, we must maintain together for patient safety, the environment and workers".

The discussion concerned to the needs in planning a Leaders Communication Forum (FORKPIM) Kemenkes-BAPETEN to meet regularly and discuss some issue as well as to harmonize the regulations issued by BAPETEN and the Ministry of Health. So that implementation in the field does not cause confusion, the commitment of two institutions in the context of radiation protection and patient safety through the application of the Dose Referrence Level (DRL), and guidance for Reference Hospital in nuclear emergency conditions, and will encourage BPFK infrastructure readiness in the context of increasing the scope to become a dosimetry laboratory for lens eye.

"At present, the Ministry of Health has also supported nuclear surveillance by not signing the Hospital Accreditation Commission (KARS) if only even one BAPETEN permit that does not come out." He added.
