Kalimantan is very good for economic improvement, but there are challenges for us related to nuclear safety issues. Talking about nuclear power plants, Indonesia is also in the process of licensing, we hope that this process can run well,” he said.
Meanwhile, Khammar Mrabit added “Revising this law is the same as Morocco which has revised laws that cover other issues such as radition safety, revising laws by involving the IAEA to ask for assistance / input. In drafting regulations, the IAEA always asks for assistance by involving the Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) for coordination at the IAEA with various divisions including the nuclear security division.
