The 97th Youth Pledge Day Commemoration in 2025 was held online on October 28, 2025, due to rainfall. The ceremony was attended by all BAPETEN employees and the DPN Korpri.

In the address of the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Erick Thohir, delivered by the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Zainal Arifin, as the ceremony supervisor, it was conveyed that:

"We live in challenging times, and the world is moving rapidly. However, we must not be afraid, because we must believe that in every village, in every city, there are still young Indonesians who are honest, resilient, and courageous. That is the strength of our nation. We need young people who are patriotic, persistent, empathetic, and who love their homeland through real actions those who remain standing even when the storm arrives.

On the other hand, rapid technological advancements and the accelerating flow of information have widened the gap in technological and information literacy between generations. Likewise, socio-cultural, political, and even business structures are facing increasing contestation. We must ask ourselves whether artificial intelligence has been optimally and widely utilized. Keeping pace with this acceleration and change alone is enough to overwhelm us. Ultimately, the mastery of Technology and Information, as well as Digital Literacy among young people, must be taken seriously."

"As has always been stated and reflected by the President:

Do not be afraid to dream big,
Do not be afraid to fail,
You are not merely complements to history,
You are the makers of the next chapter of history."

On this occasion, the BAPETEN Choir also performed several patriotic songs to honor the services of national heroes, including Bangun Pemudi Pemuda and the BAPETEN March. [BHKK/SP/GP]
