Kembali 26 Juni 2025 | Berita BAPETEN | 11 lihatThe Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN), through the Directorate of Regulation of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DP2FRZR), held an offline socialization activity on the Leveraging Components for Strengthening Supervision in the Development of Integrity Zones (Pembangunan Zona Integritas or PZI) Towards Corruption-Free Areas within the DP2FRZR Environment on June 26, 2025. The event was attended by representatives from the work units of the Directorate of Regulation of Nuclear Installations and Materials (DP2IBN), the Centre for Regulatory Assessment of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (P2STPFRZR), the Centre for Regulatory Assessment of Nuclear Installations and Materials (P2STPIBN), and the Internal Auditors. This activity aims to increase understanding and foster a strong commitment to building an integrity zone, with a focus on strengthening oversight, thereby achieving the ultimate goal of a clean, corruption-free government that provides excellent public services.
The event began with opening remarks and instructions from the director of DP2FRZR, Mukhlisin, who explained that the purpose of strengthening oversight within the PZI is to increase transparency and accountability in the regulatory drafting process, prevent potential conflicts of interest and abuse of authority, and ensure that the resulting regulations support the principles of good governance. Mukhlisin then provided a presentation on the legal basis for the PZI, the PZI stages, the requirements for proposing and establishing a PZI, the PZI launch at the DP2FRZR, the PZI selection process, the PZI administrative selection process and results at the DP2FRZR, and the PZI team's follow-up plan at the DP2FRZR.
The event continued with remarks from the Head of the Internal Auditors, Achmad Bussamah. The PZI serves not only the benefit of the work units but also the BAPETEN institution. Achmad stated that the PZI was conducted to create a clean, transparent, and accountable organization and to ensure quality public services. The 2024 bureaucratic reform assessment revealed that improvements still needed to be made to the integrity zone. The DP2FRZR has passed the administrative selection process and will proceed to the interview stage. Furthermore, a shared focus is the work unit's commitment to following up on audit results (TLHP) conducted by the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI).
Next, representatives from the Internal Auditors presented on the Leverage Components for Strengthening Oversight related to Gratification Control by Iwan Karsana as Supervisory Auditor; Public Service Complaints and the Whistle-Blowing System by Anis Setiawati as First-Level Expert Auditor; and Conflict of Interest Management by Gorby Virgory Aldhi as First-Level Expert Auditor.
The next session included discussions on topics related to the dissemination of public complaints, reporting of follow-up to public complaints, improving HR competencies, access to the SP4N LAPOR view for work units, types/forms of gratuities, and limitations and methods for assessing gifts that are included in gratuities that must be reported. In closing, Mukhlisin expected the actualization of the provisions or regulations that have been set, and in order to support the PZI at BAPETEN to run well, repetition of this socialization activity is necessary. This year, it is expected that DP2FRZR can obtain the predicate of Corruption-Free Area (WBK). (Intanung Syafitri/DP2FRZR/BHKK/CD/Translator: GP)
