BAPETEN hosted a study visit from Politeknik Al Islam Bandung on Thursday, 15 January 2026, in Jakarta. The visit was attended by 35 students and aimed to enhance their understanding of BAPETEN’s roles, functions, and scope of authority in supervising the utilization of nuclear energy in Indonesia.

Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Indonesia Pays a Courtesy Call to BAPETEN

Senior officials of BAPETEN received a courtesy call from the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Indonesia at the BAPETEN Office on Friday, 9 January 2026. The meeting discussed the discovery of eight containers originating from Angola that were contaminated with Cesium-137 at Tanjung Priok Port in November 2025.
